MANDARIN MARMALADE
A traditional marmalade made with just three ingredients: Gayndah mandarins, sugar, and lime.
Each season, we source mandarins from Gayndah, Queensland's famous citrus-growing region, selecting fruit at its peak for flavour and colour. Using a simple, traditional recipe, our chefs slowly cook the mandarins with sugar and fresh lime to create a marmalade that celebrates the fruit itself.
The result is a beautifully balanced marmalade with a bright citrus flavour, gentle sweetness, and plenty of chunky pieces of mandarin peel for texture and depth.
How to Use
Spread generously over warm buttered sourdough, toast, crumpets, or scones.
Serve alongside a cheese board, particularly with aged cheddar or creamy brie.
Use as a glaze for roast pork or chicken.
Add to cakes, tarts, and baked goods for a bright citrus flavour.
Or simply enjoy by the spoonful.
From Our Kitchen
Every year, we look forward to citrus season in the South Burnett.
Our Mandarin Marmalade is made in-house by our chefs using locally grown Gayndah mandarins, fresh lime, and Australian sugar. We keep the recipe intentionally simple, allowing the flavour of the fruit to take centre stage.
The chunky texture, vibrant colour, and bright citrus flavour are exactly what we love about traditional marmalade.
