We are Devon and Zarly, a husband and wife team running a family business rooted in the heart of the South Burnett region in Queensland, Australia.

Our journey began with our restaurant, Whipbird, where Devon crafts delicious dishes in the kitchen and Zarly warmly welcomes guests at the front. Our restaurant is more than just a place to eat; it’s a gathering spot for friends and families, a place where memories are made and celebrations come to life.

In addition to our restaurant, we operate our family farm, where we grow a variety of fresh produce for both Whipbird and Handcrafted Harvest. We are passionate about growing for flavour, not just production. Our commitment to ethical farming practices ensures that everything we produce is not only delicious but also sustainably and responsibly grown.
